New Paint
I realize that I generally forget to take 'before' photos of our projects for comparison - I'll remember to do that when I take on the house painting and paint removal from the bricks on our house this spring/summer (not sure what would possess anyone to think that painting bricks is a good idea...). We decided to add a little color to the inside of our house so it wasn't so washed out. We're pretty happy with the results. We got the picture of the dog from a friend over Christmas - we just like it alot and and thought you might like it too.

I know the feeling, man. since i began working on my house, i've been asking myself questions very similar to the brick question. some of mine have been, "why would anyone want to paint a pink heart on the white trim in their bedroom?" and "why would anyone block their garage with a fence?".
you've inspired me to post some of my before pictures, which is incidentally all i have.
