What is that Mountain?
Its unnamed as far as I know- its the front of a ridge on the south side of Sawmill Gulch in the southern part of the Sawtooth range near Galena Summit - between Stanley and Ketchum ID. Not the biggest or most known mountain like the ones closer to Stanley and maybe thats part of its appeal to me.
Its one of thise mountains that even after 7 or 8 years has me constantly looking over my shoulder as I drive over Galena and down the highway.
Have you played any with Google Earth? Its really cool - and is a free download if not check it out at http://earth.google.com
I've spent alot of time this winter retracing all the trails and tripsI've been on.
