Jets Make me a Bad Driver

I can usually ignore distractions going on around me when I'm focused on a specific task. I was reminded this morning on the way home from the gym of one of the things that is darn near impossible for me to block out. Fighter jets and bombers...I remember specific instances of playing baseball in highschool near the airforce base in Wichita and having a pretty rough time paying attention when the B-1's would fly over in the midle of the game.

Anyways, I missed about 3 miles of a drive this morning because I heard then saw 4 F-15s flying over in formation toward the airport, then after flying a pass over the airfield one by one they peeled off and cirled around - like the ones in the photo. They came in for a second pass over the runway and they dissappeared below my view - I imagine they did a touch and go thing I see them do from the second floor of the gym - then they pulled their noses up at the end of the runway and shot into a vertical climb then leveled out thousands of feet up when they became dots way up in the sky...

I vaguely remember one of the stoplights not sure on the others that I drove through...I guess its my "cell phone distraction".
