El Finite-O

It's done - I think...after fighting construction adhesived gutters off the fascia, a paint sprayer that worked for only15 minutes, and then going old school with a brush and roller and 2 weeks later here we are. Just finished the doors and a little touch up on the new trim today. I have quickly realized that I was definitely spoiled growing up in a brick house...a few below of old ones to see where we've come from. How we bought it...New Front Yard last year...

and now...

Kung Fu Roy

A few weeks back Roy destroyed an end table that I've known since I can remember. Roy's bed sits next to my desk in our office and generally gets pushed into the end table that our fax machine sits on. Roy lays n his bed and watches us work - some days he just can't get comfortable on his bed and he kicks and squirms around on his bed until its just right. This was one of those days - not much kicking and squirming went on- just one kick and wham - busted the door in to two pieces. I think he was just as surprised as Kasey and I were. Its not a flimsy door too - some hollow type molding on the front backed with about an inch of pine or something. Roy was addressed as Kung Fu Master or Karate Chop Roy for the next week or so...

Painting the house

Here's some photos of the house - started doing some painting to make sure we have colors we want to work with - compared to the current blue I don't think we can go too wrong...Yes that brick is painted funny story - long story but 2 days or paint removal yielded poor results, maybe I deserve it after vowing to never paint brick...The only option left was to repaint it.
